End in Sight

Had my last appointment today and.....my body is doing NOTHING.   I'm sure everyone else is surprised as I am....not, lol.  Final weight is 178.  Marshall was asking if I would ever go into labor on my own.  I guess I probably would, maybe not until 42 weeks though and I wouldn't let myself go that long.  The placenta can start to deteriorate and I wouldn't want it to fail on the baby.  Plus, where I've gone almost a week over, chances are I would end up in another c-section if I were to go into labor at this point.
I've come to terms with having a repeat c-section and now I'm just excited to meet this little guy.  I went up to the hospital to do my pre-interview & get blood work done. We have to be up to the hospital by 6 am tomorrow morning & I'm sure we will be back in surgery by 7.
In less than 24 hours I will be holding our new little Snedaker adddition - wish us luck!

Aw! I could cry. I am so excited for you. It is an amazing feeling when you finally know you will DEFINITELY be holding that baby soon. I have to say, I envy how you must be feeling right now. There is nothing more wonderful than the joy of knowing you can hold him soon and also when you finally do get to hold him. That's it. I officially want another baby already! (As if the 2 I have don't keep me busy enough). Eli is already 2 months - can you believe that!?!? Well, good luck and we'll pray for a smooth and problem-free delivery for you.

Yay! Congrats!

Look at it this way...at least there will be no question when he will get here. You won't be sitting at home wondering "Is this really labor? Should I go in?" I will see you on Friday-don't worry I'll take really good care of you and let you sleep! I can't wait to see the little guy. Or should I say big? Also, this time will be lots better because you won't labor first. You'll be surprised how much faster your recovery is and how much better you will feel. See you soon and good luck!!

Bummer that it didn't happen the way you hoped, but like you said you'll be holding him in less than a day and that makes all the difference! We're so excited for you!

The good thing about a scheduled C-Section is that you'll know exactly when you get to see him. Good luck!
