Week In Idaho

We went up to Idaho for a week in June.  Marsh was in between jobs so it worked out quite nice.
Of course there was lots going on.  We went to the circus with Chris & Natalie.  My sisters, mom & I threw a bridal shower for Geoff's fiance' Cheryl..  And little Geoffy got married.  There were lots of other fun things we did along with that, but I was somewhat sporadic at taking pictures.  I ate way too much sugar, drank too much soda, gabbed with my sisters and mom and just had a great time.
Now it's time for pictures...lots of pictures.

Bath Tub

I was playing with a new digital camera I am reviewing and got some cute shots of the boys in the tub. If you notice in the background, there's "coloring" all over the tub. I got them some bath tub markers and finally got rid of them. Chan & Row had fun with them but they are a PAIN to clean up.

Chandler vs. The Tree

Chandler had a run in with a tree while jumping on a trampoline. It did a nice number on his gums underneath his lip and I almost thought we might have to get stitches in it. The outside of his lip looked horrible as well. Bandaids make it feel better....but maybe not look better? hee hee ;)

Anniversary

So today is officially our 5 year wedding anniversary. It seems like this blog gets wrapped around the boys for the most part, but we are still here, behind the scenes. I know we have a long road ahead, but it's amazing to look back and see everything that we've been through, the good and the bad.
Marsh is the all inclusive package and sometimes wonder why I got so lucky, or rather why I am so blessed. So here's to you Love. Thanks for being my everything.
(PS - I know we've changed a bit over the last 5 years....but let's just remember us like this....*wink*)

Fountains & Fun

Yesterday I met up with some other moms from church to let our kids play in the Fountains at the Gateway in Salt Lake.  When we got there, it was just past noon, and come to find out there was a Jr. High orchestra concert going on.  Really?  So all of our kids ran wild for an HOUR and I was ready to go by then.  The fountains finally turned on and Chandler was ecstatic.  Rowan took a little bit to warm up to them but was soon playing in them too.

Not so sure about this....

I would have liked to be Rowan at this point.  I was sooo hot and sweaty that I was envying all those little kids in the fountains.

After the fountains, we picked up Marshall for lunch, grabbed some Sonic and headed to Liberty Park to have a picnic

Picnic

With Marsh's new job, he doesn't get home until 7:15 every evening, so if I don't have something planned, or if we don't get out - we all go stir crazy.  We've been going to the summer movies every Wednesday, and that's been a big hit.  Both the boys are so good as long as they have a snack and drink.  It's crazy to think that they'll sit still for 90+ minutes.  Other things we've been doing:  Thanksgiving Point, Playdates, and filling up our little pool out back.  If anyone has any other ideas or activities, I'd love to hear them.  (Oh and I still have yet to post our week in Idaho and pictures from Geoff's wedding.  But I have a ton of pictures and blogger has been weird about uploading.  Maybe in the next few days.)
