Goodbye & Hello

This last week we said goodbye to this.  Marsh was little sad to sell his truck, but it didn't make sense for us to have it as we had 3 vehicles and it was just sitting there.
But we said Hello to this:
I'm in love.

Little Streaker

See this sweet face?
He's almost 100% potty trained!! I'm a full believer now about how when people say when your kids are ready to potty train it will happen fast. A week and half for us. We need to work on Chandler going in the big potty, but he prefers his little one. I don't blame him, would you want to go on a toilet that you almost fall into every time you use it? We did the potty tots program and it worked wonders. He's also working on earning Hungry Hippos, his prize of choice for learning to go potty.  He has a few more spaces on his little chart before he gets it.  We had a little bit of trouble with the pooping thing so we've been letting him run naked, or just with a t-shirt the last few days. It's finally clicked yesterday and today, however he's made it a habit of streaking. He can unlock our front door and there is a playground right by our house. I found him a few days ago, completely naked, playing on the playground. I guess he wasn't COMPLETELY naked, he had his blue rainboots on. He tried to justify that it was ok to go outside and play since he had put his boots on. He's also streaked out to the playground a few times today. I'm sure other parents wonder what this naked little boy is doing, and think we are terrible parents, but we honestly turn our heads for 30 seconds and he's outside again. Oh well, I'm just excited about only having 1 in diapers now.

If

you read my other blog, Babes and Kids Review, you might notice that it's not working right now.  Hopefully it will be by the end of the day.  I'm moving my blog to Word Press!  I'm super excited, just waiting for the domain to transfer over....

Spring

About a week and a half ago, I went outside and saw these beauties outside the back of our house. Nice surprise. Welcome Spring!.....finally.

Mother's Day

Marshall never ceases to amaze me when it comes to Birthdays, Christmas, or Mother's Day. He's always been incredibly creative from day one. (Basically when we were 15 :) ) I had to work yesterday and had to get up at a very early 4 am. It wouldn't have been so bad but I had already worked Thursday & Friday night, and it's hard to transition between days and nights when I have that kind of turn around.
Anyways, Marsh got up and made me breakfast, and then when I was about to leave I saw a card on the door. It was really sweet and had a nail taped to it. It said, "You might need this to drive to work safely." I was a bit confused but it all made sense when I went out and saw the car. He had written all over it, there were chocolates on the seat, flowers in the front and back window, a rose air freshener, and tons of balloons inside the car. It really made my day and made it so it wasn't quite so hard to go to work. Oh, and I DID have people honking at me because of the message on the back of the car. How embarassing :)

Busy Blogging

I've been busy blogging lately, although I've been a slacker on this one!  It's been on my Babes and Kids blog. I can't believe since I started networking and getting more traffic, how busy things have become. Most of my posts are actually sponsored now which means I get to try a lot of cool products and a lot of time give them away too. It's been a lot of fun, but is a lot of work! I'm hoping as my traffic continues to grow that I will get to review some bigger stuff. I was hoping to go to Blogher 09, which is basically a big convention, this year in Chicago. Tickets are all sold out though, and I'm not sure how we could swing it financially anyways this year. Next year for sure.

Idaho Trip

It seems like life never slows down.  We went to Idaho this past weekend for Parker's (Marshall's brother) baptism.  It was so fun to see family that we haven't seen since Christmas.  Chandler was so happy to see his cousin Claire and they played really well all weekend.  In fact, I haven't see Chan that well behaved in a long time, it was REALLY nice.  Rowan was of course clingy, and slept horrible.  He seemed to cry like half the time and the other half was glued to my hip while pulling on my hair.  My camera started going dead so I got hardly any pictures from the weekend, but did manage to get a few.  Rowan and his cousin Jake happened to have the same pajamas, little twinners.  Chan is 5 months older, but they are pretty much the same size.  The battery in my camera was dying, so I didn't a lot of pictures - but here are the few that I got:
